So, you want to be a change-maker? You’re in the right place. At Public Spirit, we’re here to live everyday life with more purpose. Our compassion for our community and desire to create meaningful change brought us here, sharing this journey with you.
Since doing good is always better together, we want to let you in on what we’re working towards, who we’re working alongside, and how you can get involved (don’t worry, it’s easy!).

Social impact is all about work that creates positive change for individuals, communities, and our society as a whole. As a far-reaching cause, social impact encompasses many aspects of our lives across community development, environmental sustainability, education, policy change, and beyond.
Upstream organizations are proactive problem solvers. Instead of putting a bandaid on a community challenge, they tackle the root issues and create plans for lasting support and change. At Public Spirit, we’re passionate about supporting change where these challenges start. Understanding the real causes behind these challenges can help break the cycle. The upstream work that the organizations we donate to can pave the way to a brighter future—for everyone.
FOR EACH CAUSE WE SUPPORT, WE WILL DONATE 10% OF OUR PROFITS TO SEVERAL GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS. WHY?
It’s simple—we care. A lot. Grassroots organizations work in the heart of the communities we want to help; they listen, take action, and make a meaningful impact. Their local focus makes them the perfect partners for creating tangible social, economic, and cultural change. For the farthest-reaching impact, we donate to several grassroots organizations dedicated to each cause we support.
HOW ARE OUR DONATIONS + EVERYDAY ACTIONS REALLY GOING TO HELP?
Making an impact doesn’t have to be some big, complicated thing—committing to easy, everyday actions can set off a chain reaction. We can see a cascade of positive change from volunteering our time, making donations (whatever you can pitch in!), and continuously educating ourselves on how to support our communities. As more and more people join the effort, the more potential there is for positive change.

Our mission is to drive social impact, and as you’ve seen, social impact work is present in many areas of our lives and our communities. To support social impact as a whole, we’ll shift focus to different causes and organizations to donate to for far-reaching change.
So, how will we pick future causes to support? That’s where you come in! Our goal is to work with you, our community, to make sure we’re supporting the causes that are most important to you. We believe that passion drives more impact, so we’ll be looking to you to let us know what you value, where you’d like to see our donations go, and how we can create more good, together.
