We take it you're familiar with the idea of 'giving back,' but what you might not know is that this doesn't just have to be about entering your credit card details into a website. Here are a few ideas for doing it a little differently-- in ways that are more interactive, or that leverage unused stuff you already have!

#1 HELP EQUIP A KID IN NEED FOR YOUTH SPORTS:

If you played team sports as a kid, you might remember the camaraderie, the joy of finding a sport you loved, winning a trophy, or even the fun you had winning against the rival team.

Being on a team is more than just playing the sport; it’s about building community, learning healthy habits, and it can even positively impact academic performance.

The interactive Equip-A-Kid site from Good Sports makes it easy to get a kid in need geared up. Use their avatars to shop equipment you can donate for any of your favorite sports (for as little as $20!). It's a fun and easy way to do something good right now.

#2 DONATE YOUR OLD TECHNOLOGY TO SUPPORT HIGHER-QUALITY EDUCATION IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES:

You probably have old phones, laptops, and tablets lying around—likely just
collecting dust in your miscellaneous drawer. In that case, you can donate them to underserved communities, nonprofits, schools, and low-income individuals. Technology resources bring access, connection, and more advanced learning opportunities to those in need.

InterConnection is a nonprofit organization that helps repurpose and redistribute your refurbished devices to create better experiences for our communities. If you have some old tech you’re ready to give new life to; you can find more info on where to mail your devices here.
